Very well written. Although it deals with at times what could tragic circumstances, it isn't depressing.

What a lovely, hopeful read. I love the Ephrons and am really looking forward to reading more of her (and their) work rather than simply loving their movies. It was a hope-filled beginning with her later-in-life serendipitous love, and then the brutal reality of cancer treatments...and I'm so glad she shared it all. We should all be so lucky to find a love like this and friends who show up in dark times like hers did. I can't wait to read more of her words.
Written by Nora Ephron’s sister/fellow author, Delia, I had heard this was both a heartfelt and heartwarming memoir about Delia’s second chance at love and subsequent leukemia diagnosis. It started out strong and I was deeply invested in Delia’s “late in life” relationship with her second husband, but then it went dark and deep, chronicling every second of her fight with leukemia. Much of it felt repetitive and unnecessary and sadly, I just lost interest about halfway through and listened without much attention to detail.
