Pretty standard Aliens fare. Character experienced the Xenomorphs in the past, then gets unwillingly dragged into a mission to capture some specimens. Despite their protests, they go along and things go wrong. Little extra twist with another familiar space-faring race...

All in all, it's what I expected and it was written well enough. You ask for a chocolate cake and you get a chocolate cake - you know what you're getting and you can't complain. Enjoyable for what it was. Next up!

A highly enjoyable sci-fi romp through a universe that invited such dark thoughts as this book's premise. Billie, Wilks, and Bueller make an excellent cast of protagonists to follow through this light, dark read. I will definitely look for book 2.

Excellent. Pulpy fiction at its best. Strong, snappy characters who developed and changed. Fast read.

Sadly, there would be people who would be that greedy that this situation could happen.

Any interesting thing set up by first book went out of window. Anything alien can be replaced by pretty much anything else an it would not make any difference. Only halfway interesting character is pretty much reduced to two bit stereotype.

It's uhh... very cheasy and kinda follows the second movie's grooves and beats. I mean... it has couple interesting moments (alien life cycle, corporations vs. government), but majority of the book is just aliens 2, part 2, electric bugaloo.
