Uki, with the help of his companions, has recaptured three of the four spirits, but the final battle will be their toughest yet. The spirit of death has found its way to the capital of the Northern realms and has taken hold of the emperor himself. Meanwhile, in the present, Rue is in deadly danger - can the Bard get him to a cure?

'Uki and the Ghostburrow' wraps up the second trilogy of the Five Realms very nicely in a similar fashion to Podkin's story. The ending is satisfying, but therer is absolutely an opening into a new set of stories.

I don't know what else to say. These books were so much fun to read, and it tears me apart that it may be a long time before I read the word "Mooka" again. I sincerely hope Kieran Larwood keeps writing these.
