Fun, interesting idea, but not a blockbuster. I would listen to another in the series in audio but wouldn't go out of my way to sit down with a paper copy.

This book was incredibly boring. Nothing happened until the last about 50 pages. And this is a tween book that took me two weeks to read. Boring.

Not a bad little adventure with kids solving all the problems on their own. A nice bunch of kids and some cool fantasy -- other worlds. Some good symbolism for young adults trying to decide between two choices, one ethical and the other sort of in a gray area.

Second time trying to read, couldn’t get very far. Premise seems interesting but it comes off as bland somehow. Oh well.
