OMG I don't even know what to say about this book. It will keep you hooked from beginning to end. I absolutely loved it and it is now my 2nd favorite book after Gone with the wind. must read!

beautifully written. i cannot put it down for quite some time. i heard a lot of stories of heroic things men do. now it's time to spotlight women who were barely acknowledged but made more contribution back then.

This beautiful story..there’s so much that came from it but my favorite part is that you can be who you want and still be you. There’s parts of your life you don’t have to share with the world and that’s ok, let you just be you to them and when it’s time you can share your story! The mom and son relationship the sibling relationship this story was heart breaking but we all know that things like this happened! And if it wasn’t for ordinary hero’s who know what would have happened. Stand up for the right!
