I loved this one, it took me a few chapters to get into but once I did, I was hooked. The character development was amazing! Yadriel, Julian, and Maritza, along with the secondary characters, were all so compelling to read. This is definitely a story that stresses the importance of acceptance, love, and community. Also, I really enjoyed learning about brujx culture and traditions. During the middle of the book, I thought the mystery lagged a little bit, but ramped up a lot by the end. I loved the ending, it was so heartwarming, highly recommend this one!
