This was a delightful and fast read about a Latino boy - Yadriel with the power to see and talk to ghosts - as in his family's brujo tradition - who accidentally calls forth the spirit of a boy his age - Julian. As they work together to try and figure out how Julian died as well as what has happened to one of his cousins, they also must avoid being seen by Yadriel's family. Julian learns how to be a better ghost, while Yadriel learns more about Julian, and, well, you can probably see where this is going. It was charming and also a wonderful glimpse into the brujo traditions.
