Really cute double gay for you story. Huge chunks of it reminded me of [b:No Homo|21570001|No Homo|RemainNameless|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1401890281s/21570001.jpg|40902451], which of course, is NOT a bad thing. I do wish the author had spent a bit more time on things outside of the sexy times, as it was almost entirely devoted to them hooking up and it turning into more. Still, very good, sexy story! 3.5 stars, rounded up.

Such a cute short novel. Jez and Mac are such sweethearts just trying to figure stuff out.

Loved the realistic way their journey and discovery of gay sex was portrayed. Hot and yet very realistic.

Roomates to brojobs to lovers. Jez has had some prior experience messing around with dudes in boarding school but is totally straight, probably. So it’s no big deal when he asks if his straight roommate wants to jerk off to porn together. One thing leads to another and they’re boyfriends who aren’t gay but they are idiots.

• okay first off the very british terminology both with dialogue and just in general really threw me off
• the writing felt very juvenile as well and like something i’d see on Wattpad rather than a published book
• like sometimes books like this lack quality just with being a bit unrealistic or characters a bit off or stuff like that but this was just a whole other ball game of barely able to be called a book
• like maybe that’s a bit harsh but it truly did not feel like published material at all
• there was almost no world building or even character-building other than the main two guys and the time skips kept happening
• it was like the author had this main idea of what they wanted so they only elaborated on that one idea as if this was a one-shot and not a book, and everything else was just not included or elaborated or built on
• i also know i already mentioned it but they were so aggressively british it made it hard for me to focus LOL
• i honestly am surprised i made it as far as i did but it felt like it was almost getting worse not better so i stopped
