Oh my goodness this book! It was kind of Beauty and the Beast, kind of Greek mythology, and all wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the story and it was just super fun and of course adorable. I wish there had of been more soul searching and deep conversation that happened between Persephone and Adam, but they’ll have plenty of time for that, I’m sure.

I have read this book several times, and it still touches my heart and makes me fall in love with these characters all over again. Persephone and Adam's story is one of my favorites. It introduces a whole new world and a whole new family from Sarah Eden, and she does a fantastic job of leaving one wanting to read more.

I don’t know what it is about historical romances, but even though they tend to be simpler stories—meaning, without too many complications in the plot—I really like them.
The story starts off a bit slow, but once the attraction between the characters begins, I was excited throughout the entire book.
It’s not a super original story; it’s a retelling of Beauty and the Beast and Hades and Persephone, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.
It could have used a bit more physical interaction between the characters, not necessarily explicit scenes, but something more than just two kisses.
Still, I loved the characters, and the scene with the wolves and Adam playing doctor to Persephone had me on the edge of my seat.
I’m not sure if I’ll read the rest, but it was a good start.

This book is the kind that satisfies the romantic heart! Marriage-of-convenience/enemies-to-lovers with a beauty-and-the-beast vibe - this may be my favorite trope! Clean, closed door romance with just a touch of heat! Well written with bits of witty banter and smile-inducing moments, as well as tender scenes that make your heart ache. Seeking Persephone by Sarah Eden is so worth the read!

This is a good book that could have been so much better. It was a great story, but the author repeated herself too much. I don’t mind a little of “I love her but she doesn’t love me” and “I love him but he doesn’t love me,” but after a while, that gets old. If people would just be honest with each other. That said, I enjoyed the book and intend to read the rest of the series.

Update 2024:
This rating still stands strong and to have a group of us read it for bookclyb made me so happy! Adam and his snarky comments, Harry and Persephone's blooming friendship and how he became Hades in the end was just so thrilling, I was giggling and kicking my legs! I'll finish this series one day...

I haven't finished a book this fast in so long! It was so fun, really brought a unique spin on the myth with a mixture of beauty and the beast. Loved the story and loved Henry the most! Lol
