I’m a sucker for a good hurt/comfort story, so this story was right up my alley.

This story follows Riley, a recently blind app developer and Harper, a visual rehabilitation trainer, who just left an abusive relationship.

What I really loved about this story, was that Riley never questioned this bi-awakening he was having for Harper. Because of his positive outlook on life, falling for a man was no different. He was there for Harper while he healed, and understood that he needed space, no matter how hard it was for Riley to stay away.

I had a feeling that this book would be slightly emotional, but what I didn’t expect was the humor! Harper and Riley really play off of each other’s humor beautiful and all the crazy things I get up to. I actually laughed out loud a few times.

And omg Riley’s parents!! I love them so much! ❤️❤️

If you want a great mm romance, slow burn, little bit of smut 😉, hurt/comfort, bi-awakening with no freak out read, this one’s for you!

I had the extreme pleasure of reading an ARC of Dianna Roman’s new novel Until I Saw You and here are my honest thoughts.

In this book, we follow Riley and Harper’s journey to healing. Harper is coming out of a bad relationship and needs a job and a place to live. Harper applies for a job as Riley’s temporary live in helper after an accident leaves Riley blind. This book is about love, healing, and a dog named Larry (among other names)

This book is easily in my top favorites for January. I finished the book January 8th and I instantly knew it was in the top despite knowing I have more books to read. Roman tackles serious topics in each of her books with such grace and I always enjoy them so much. I think my favorite thing was when Riley realized he liked Harper and didn’t have an internalized homophobic response to it. He was just like “oh alright then”. It was so regrettable to see as many mlm books I’ve read have that response when one of them thought they were straight but surprise– they like a man.

This book definitely had more serious themes than her other book I reviewed, but it still has that humor you see in Dianna Roman’s books. It was truly an amazing book and I immediately bought a copy and a braille bookmark from her site.

I am beyond grateful of having the pleasure of reading an
ARC of Dianna Roman's new novel Until I Saw You.
Thoughts:
In this book we follow Harper and Riley's journey to healing and happiness. Harper is coming out of a toxic relationship, he is left with needing to find a job and a place to stay ASAP.
After an accident Riley is left blind and in search for a temporary live in helper.
This books is easily in my top favourites of my January reads!
The author tackles some serious themes in this book but they have done so with such incredible writing, witty humour and elegance.
I especially loved when Riley started to realise he had feelings for Harper. Instead of the typical internalised homophobia, Riley acknowledged and accepted his feelings and his sexuality. It was extremely refreshing to see that.
This book has serious themes and I'd definitely recommend looking at the trigger warnings, that being said it still has great humour, excellent writing and is an amazing book!
Thankyou to @katieandbreypa for providing the book tour!
