Я вже була фанаткою робіт Агати Крісті, зокрема про Пуаро та Міс Марпл, але Томмі й Таппенс завоювали мою прихильність з перших сторінок.
Книга дуже жвава, так і майорить молодістю, англійським патріотизмом та надією про мир після такої важкої Великої війни (яка тоді ще не була Першою світовою).
І хоча гумор тут класичний "англійський", а настрій попервах трохи несерйозний, надалі події розвертаються не на жарт. Про героїв і казати нічого, читайте і побачите самі - з перших реплік ці юні авантюристи полонять ваше серденько і заставлять переживати за їх долю до кінця історії. 

Я навіть не проти класичного хепіенду, де всі одружуються :) Після важкої війни, перемоги над нацистами та подяки від самого міністра, "вони жили довго й щасливо" - останній штрих для гарного завершення.

It was a fun read
Wasn't a fan of the ending to be honest 
I still had questions at the end
Don't feel like there's much to say, but I did enjoy this introduction to Tommy and Tuppence and am excited to read more of them.

I should have read this T+T book first because now I LOVE them and I feel like I totally understand them and the way they think separately and how they work together. I am going to go back and re-read the following books in a totally different light.

This book had everything - murder mystery, spies, secret identities, and seeing T+T think on their feet and manipulate everyone around them was a masterpiece. The "facts" were constantly changing and I was so confused about what was true and false (by design) and I love that!
