Reading this as an adult was really enjoyable and I can see this being a book teachers can read to their students in school. It's also a great book for parents to read to their kids because it explores a myriad of cultures and communities within Canada, celebrating and acknowledging the diversity.
I also love the Talking Tidbits because it offers fun and important facts.

I'm not sure if this is part of a series, but I think it would be cool to have stories dedicated to each character and their specific customs, holidays, cultural foods, etc. I guess I was initially expecting each character to narrate a different component since there was an introduction for them but it was still nice that each month shared the Canadian traditions as a collective.

Overall, this was a really sweet book that pays homage to Canadian communities and traditions. As someone who briefly lived in Canada as a kid, I really enjoyed this insight and I think this would be a lovely book for kids to read so they can gain awareness from a young age.
