So I guess this is my ‘only reads fantasy books girlie’ origin story! Was this series perfect? No, not at all. But did I enjoy reading it? Yes, yes I did! <3
From the very first book in this trilogy, I was not only hooked, but bespelled and overtly excited for each of the other books to be released. When you write a novel including Lily Proctor in Salem, string theory to make travel between worlds possible, and a stunning love interest, it could never be boring.
Even better are the many villains created. Some were "Lily/s" from other worlds or Rowan/s from a different time. You wanted to help everyone just get along, sometimes it is harder than we expect.
I'm sad that the story is over, but I'm okay with the ending.
For a fresh read, out of the norm for both fantasy and paranormal romance, spend some time lost in the Worldwalker's atmosphere.

I liked this trilogy. Hate the semi-open ending, I want to know how things got afterwards.
Definitely a trilogy I will be rereading over and over again!
A satisfying end to the series but I felt like the end was a little rushed.

WOAH, THIS BOOK HAD A NEW VIBE
This concluding novel was engaging, action-packed and entertaining to read. Old characters continue to be as loveable as before and new characters provided new information and tension that just brought the trilogy to a high before giving a satisfying conclusion. Good job Angelini!
I have to say I'm pretty satisfied with the ending though I would've like a longer epilogue just because I love Rowan and Lily so much - AH OTP!!!

The last book left off with a MASSIVE cliffhanger. Lily's Tristan is dead, Rowan and Lily have sort of broken up and they have just discovered a new city, Bower City, which is not supposed to exist. Bower City was your creepy town where everyone is unnaturally happy and kind. They repeat the same sort of answers when you ask them questions about their existence and where ever you go, the Hive watches you, ready to strike if you're angry or distressed. It's the ultimate ONLY GOOD VIBES HERE.

Obviously, nobody is trustworthy in this town despite their constant kind gestures and nice smiles because of THE HIVE! Somehow, everyone in this town is convinced that law & order is sustained by the Hive by choosing who gets to live in the town and by ensuring only smiles and laughter exists. Which is why Lily's gang is such a big deal - because they were chosen by the Hive. We get some important new character like Toshi and Grace from this new town. Toshi - I didn't trust because he was too charming and good-looking. Grace was just creepy nice. It is here that we discover who the real enemy is and what the Woven actually are.
I feel like I was supposed to question Lily during this book but I was with her 100% throughout the whole novel. Her gang begun to question her sanity and her methods but for me, SHE HAD TO. She only possessed them like a couple of time and those were DIRE MOMENTS. It's not like she's a psychopach who does it for fun. I love Lily's determination, loyalty and strength in this book. She is definitely not the same person from the beginning. Nope, she's bigger and better.

Even though Rowan had chosen to left her, he came back in this novel, creating some hormonal tensions and dramatic emotional scenes between the two. Even though I love the two of them with all my heart, I knew that their drama wasn't that big. Sure, Lily struggled with forgiving him but she had already admitted pretty early in the novel that she loved him. So my focus in this book wasn't their rocky relationship but the main story line of defeating the Woven and unravelling the secrets of Bower City.
Ahhhh, I loved the action so much!!! Watching both Lillians and Alaric work together during the climax was awesome. Just reading about Lily's army begin to grow larger was just addicting to read about. I love it because all these people banded together with their differences and own conflicts to defeat evil. Come on, how amazing is that! If only the world would do that against Donald Trump. Especially in this book, Lillian was no longer the villain. She was a key ally of Lily's and watching the two tenacious characters join armies was the ultimate ode to girl power.
Ultimately, a great and action-packed ending to this trilogy which totally shows how girl power can change the world. Though, I wouldn't mind an extra novella on Lily and Rowan because URGH, RELATIONSHIP GOALS.

I'll be honest I had to read the last page so I would have dread holding me back from powering through this (The book is due back at the library in two days). I thought it would take me two days to read but once I got going I couldn't stop.
I've always liked that about these books no matter how I feel going into them once it hooks me I can stop until the book does.
Rowan and Lily's relationship has its ups and down but I liked it. The ending was a fantastic way to end the series but I was a little disappointed because that epilogue felt like a teaser and I want more. Although, if the epilogue wasn't there I would have been pissed.
