My Rating = 2 Stars = It was OK

I think I haven't rated a book this low. I know of another that has this exact rating but I never review it. I think I may correct that situation soon enough.

I don't know exactly what happen in the production of this book but I finished it and I'm feeling confuse.

Marisol is a journalist that doesn't act like one and I feel like she doesn't have the right mindset. She is also shy and doesn't come out like the other journalist characters that have more backbone to do what's needed to get a story. When I saw she was a LATINA I was happy because I'm from South America. I ended up disappointed because the physical part was kind of right but we have more spirit than Marisol, in spades.

Park was a second thought for me. I didn't like him as a character, not because of his physical description or because he was an arrogant male, but his actions were all over the place. One second he was thinking this and the next he was doing that.

The writing was good but the story was crazy. I don't have any problem at all with the steamy scenes in this book, there were hot and served their purpose in a great way. The actual story... that was, 4 words: all over the place.

It felt like I was jumping from one situation to the next without any rhyme, reason they had sometimes, and that the author was throwing things into the characters paths just to make their lives miserable without making it cohesive.

I can't stop thinking that maybe something was lost for me during this reading but I can't figure out what.

Again, I enjoyed the sexy parts more than the actual story as a hole. I would recommend it because this is just my personal opinion and people can like different things.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book provided by the author via Hidden Gems

OBS: On Amazon my review says 3 Stars because for Amazon 3 means "It Was OK".
