I just hate King Midas. I hated all the chapters that involved him. It got really good towards the end. Slade & Auren chapters were the best, obviously. “Im so fucking proud of her… You did it goldfinch… That’s my girl.”
I lived for the action at the end. But I wish the author would have incorporated a lot more of it in the beginning as well. It was slow paced. I got bored here and there.

I am NOT ok. This entire series kept me wound up, but this book has me wishing I could fast forward to May and the release of the next book. Well done, Raven Kennedy.
