This manga series was absolutely fantastic!
I love how it blended lots of queer joy with also very real queer struggles. This volume actually made me cry quite a bit. The arguments Mogumo had with their parents were so painfully real, I've had many similar discussions with people in my own life. I'm really am glad that this manga features so much joy as well as going to the struggles of queer folks especially in these last two volumes. It makes it feel so real.
but ya fantastic manga! Definitely one of my favorite series! Highly suggest if you're looking for a story with good LGBTQ+ rep that explores lots of queer joy as well as the struggles they go through! This manga is so very underrated <3

This is a really sweet series, as well as a "baby's first introduction to queer identities" and I loved it.

So sad this series was only 5 volumes

This last volume is a gut wrenching and heartfelt ending to the series.  This is more serious volume (like vol 4) so please check the trigger warnings.
This series is such a joyful story full of characters figuring out who they are and finding a supportive space where they can be their true authentic self.
This series has does such a good job of showing how both gender and sexuality is fluid. If you are looking for a lgbtqia+ story then definitely check this out!!

CW for transphobia, depression, attempted self harm, mental health, suicidal ideation, homophobia, and parental abuse.

The conclusion of a series following Mogumo, a non-binary high school student, and their journey befriending other teens at a cafe and falling in love, while also carrying the heavy burden of being separated from their family. I really felt for Mogumo once they shared their story of why they are estranged from their family. And the story isn't exactly solved, as everyone is still figuring out who they are and Mogumo's parents are no exception. There are very intense scenes of argument and hateful language in the volume, but I feel that there're are many different families and it's important to share all different kinds. (The male LI, Tetsu, has a transgender sister and shares how when his sister came out, his father was very harmful and transphobic. A fellow coworker at the cafe had a successful coming out to her parents off-page.) I wouldn't say this is the best trans/queer manga I've read, but I do appreciate the story and characters the mangaka brought.

A happy for now story where the characters heal from societal rejection and find comfort with their chosen family.
