I devoured this book. Moriarty excels at writing this "ménage à trois" and manages to make all of them seem so human and fallible. I loved getting into their minds, the ending was so good and satisfying, and will be picking up more of Moriarty's books in the future.

Liane Moriarty is truly my guilty pleasure, I absolutely love her plots and writing. This has probably become my second favourite of hers after Nine Perfect Strangers.

I love me some Liane Moriarty and this time was no different! Ellen falling in love with Patrick always felt like a mistake, especially with Saskia’s presence always lurking, but the ending felt pure and sweet. I felt like the characters made good progress and started to understand the nuances of human relationships (e.g. you can love someone and still hurt them) 🥲 It felt less superficial than Moriarty’s other stories and I enjoyed myself. The book also made me wonder what going to a hypnotherapist would be like 😳 I would definitely recommend to any Liane Moriarty fans ✨

Liane Moriarty's so good at capturing creeping anxiety
