This wasn't my favorite book in the series, but it was still really good. It had a bit of a slow start for me, slower than the others, but I did enjoy it after a few chapters! Still one of my favorite series!

I don't like it at all. Everything seems to be so plastic and totally unrealistic. I enjoyed Angels and Deamons but this one...puts me off Dan Brown for good.

3.5 stars. I always learn a lot from Dan Brown's books, and this was no exception. It was hard to put this book down. I get annoyed with the red herrings and the Mickey Mouse watch.

A lot of people seem to enjoy hating on Dan Brown, but that's up to them. I'm not going to disagree or agree. At the point in time I read this, I found Inferno enjoyable.

Entertaining for the historical trivia and a virtual tour through Florence, Venice, and briefly Istanbul -- but entirely predictable. Parts of it I could barely slog through because the author kept describing places with incredible detail *during a high-speed chase or action scene.* I'm pretty sure even Mr. Langdon wouldn't be able to notice such detail about his surroundings when he's running for his life... It's been a while since I read my last Dan Brown books; my tastes must have changed. It was okay for a straightforward suspense read. I suspect the movie will be better for once.

I enjoyed this thriller. I hesitate to use the word formulaic but suffice to say if you like the other Robert Langdon novels you'll like this one. Some good twists and some thought provoking passages about the Earth being overpopulated.
