The premise of aliens hunting humans as sport was quite intriguing and kept me interested for the first half of the story, but then it flips into an intergalactic war epic. The change in story wasn’t nearly as interesting as the original premise. It wasn’t terribly written either, but it wasn’t what the book implied it was going to be.
