I hate to say that this book wasn't nearly as the rest of Ana Huang's books. I really didn't care for their relationship and Dominic annoyed the living hell out of me. I wish Alessandra put her foot down and didn't sleep with the man straight after divorce- but she was being followed so what could the poor girl do? Dominic reminded me a lot of Alex in his book, where they follow and harass the women then act stupid- which is why I didn't enjoy twisted love that much. I did quite like the plot of Roman but i don't really think it went into enough detail. The plot felt rushed (the version of the book I'm reading is literally less than 300 pages) and i feel like this book could of been so much longer. I love Ana Huang's books, especially the twisted series, but this book really didn't do it for me. I kept putting off because my gut told me I wouldn't enjoy this book nearly as much as the rest- and I was right. I hope King of Sloth is better but this is unfortunately my least favourite Ana Huang book.

I’m giving it a four only bc I’d give it a 3.5 that’s not including the fact this book was amazing written, I just had a hard time with the divorce trope, but I loved how there was 10 years of backstory for us to learn about!!! I’m just a big advocate for them men to basically worship the women, but it was still good!

❤️

I really enjoyed this story!! I loved the characters and their development but since I’m 23 and more single than a pringle their struggles weren’t very relatable to me. Don’t get me wrong it was a fantastic book but I probably won’t pick it up again just because of the lack of relatability compared to the other books in this series.
