adventurous dark tense fast-paced

Just after we get reintroduced to Banjou who is looking for Rize, and Touka's brother, her brother kidnaps Kaneki, where he learns more about the new hierarchy of the ghouls in the 11th ward, where the murders are getting out of hand, which drew the attention of the ghoul investigators that are now gathering forces to put an end to it. And there's this new weird, childish, and disrespectful Suzuya guy that will probably end up being evil.

We have finally reached Aogiri tree. They really turn my stomach. The only good part of them is the introduction to Ayato. It did feel a bit info-dumpy but I did appreciate it. Next issue: white head Kaneki?

I finished this a while ago, but forgot to log it. I swear it didn't take me over a month to read 200 pages YOU GUYS HAVE TO BELIEVE ME

I want more ghouls less doves, unless the doves actually become interesting

A solid volume.

This was more of a set up for the ghoul gang: the Aogiri Tree, but it still moved the plot forward. Kaneki is captured by this underground faction for a yet to be revealed reason. Also, I did enjoy learning a bit about the anatomy of a ghoul.

On to the next volume.

I liked that we got information about ghouls and their types! It was so entertaining to read about them.
I don't like Juuzo's character. And not Ayato's character either. Ayato is handsome but cruel and jerk.
It was beautiful to see that Touka care so much about Kaneki.))
And Banjo was quite fine and sweet guy.
However if we talk about sweetness, I have to mention Kaneki-kun again and again, as you would get diabetes from his sweetness. I understand now why Kaneki fans are very protective of him. Do not touch my Kaneki!

Well, it gets more complicated. Now, there's a group of ghouls that are ruthless and are attacking doves. They're also after Rize for some reason, and if they can't get her, they'll settle for ghouls that smell like her. Given that that's very specific, it is interesting and poor kaneki.

I like banjo. He's a sweet person who really can't handle being a tough leader. Banjo, kaneki, and others try to escape but are caught. Kaneki agrees to stay with the ghouls in exchange for the others to go free.

Now, the torture begins. Onto the next book!
