This book wasn't bad, but I am tired of characters and events I DO NOT LIKE being the focus of everything. I didn't want to read this one based on the synopsis--and to date, I haven't started the book after this one, even though I own it, because I don't like the synopsis for that one either and I didn't care for several things that happened in this book. I will probably eventually get over these things enough to try the next book, but honestly, this series is looking less like a sure-bet for me than ever before. I will be considering my continued interest in the future, when it went without saying before.
Hassan sucks. Misha apparently sucks-- that ones gets talked about in this book but not in a way that's helpful or informative to THIS story. Dallas extra super sucks. Again. The male werewolf Tribunal leader guy continues his epic suckage as well-- setting the standard in suckage, really. And I hate where this all seems to be going, at this rate. So... a break from this series (these series really), is definitely in order for me.

The Rogue and the Rebel. I don't think there's a more fitting phrase. Jacky and Heath together always have exciting adventures and I think this was the best one yet.

Love Jacky
Jacky Leon is one of my favorite characters in the tribunal world. I loved revisiting Jacky and seeing how her relationship with Heath progresses. Also Landon and Dirk are adorable. I am excited to read about the fall out from the latest adventures in the next book!

Why are all of my Jacky Leon reads 5 stars? Every single book so far, and with each book I fall more for Jacky and Heath. I can't wait to see what they will have to deal with next.
This time, the Dallas pack is having problems. Heath can't let it go because it was his pack once upon a time. Jacky understands and aids him, but when the pack sends members to kill Heath and Landon, all bets are off. Jacky will decimate the pack, but on her revenge mission, she finds out that a third party is involved—witches.
I can't wait already for the next book to come out in July 2022.

This one had a good plot but it took about 25% of the story before things started happening. So- a slow 25% where we rehashed how we got to this current place. Solid story once it got moving, maybe at 40%? 3.5 stars for me. I may be losing interest or am just jones'ing for Stardew Valley, we will see.
We see the Dallas pack fall apart and Fenris told to play nice with Jacky. Hasan is giving them grief over their relationship and witches try to take over the world.
