When we were first introduced to this potential couple in book two I was really hoping that the third book would be about them. Thankfully it was and I loved seeing their story.

If you haven’t read book one and two, they aren’t necessarily needed to enjoy this book, this book does end with a happily ever after. However, in order to understand the overarching plot and mystery as well as get a little bit of a background on the side characters, I highly recommend reading the first two books. They will definitely enrich your reading experience when reading this one and as this series progresses.

I think this book had a good balance between the romance and the overall mystery. New key players were introduced and old ones were brought back. Some of the characters ended up being pretty surprising so I’m looking forward to see how that plays out. When reading the book I was really hoping for book four to be about a certain couple and it looks like it will be and I could not be happier. I am very much looking forward to the next book.

In regards to this book, it was a tragic story that thankfully had a happy ending. If you have a trigger towards domestic violence, do not read this book. I think the author did a great job showing how hard it is to escape and the mentality surrounding it. Especially when there is a child involved, like this book. I think seeing the female main character overcome her situation, rebuild her life and become the strong woman she is was very empowering. As well, I completely loved the interactions with her daughter, she was adorable and very funny. Add in her romance and it was a very well rounded book.

Looking forward to book four and the next couple and hopefully more of the mystery comes together.

What would you do if you found yourself in a situation where it didn't seem there was a way out? It is easy to judge others while standing on the outside. Rivers throws us through the window and into the head of the one living in hell.

Does Naomi stay in the abusive relationship knowing she has a little one to look for? Does she try to get away knowing that things will be worse if she ends up going back? Does she listen to the one man who may be able to help her?

This book will force you to look inside yourself and possibly battle some of your own demons. This story is beautifully written, and the love of Naomi for her daughter shines bright through this whole book. Naomi and Snake's relationship is a force of nature that marches through this book like a hurricane. It is inevitable no matter who stands in their way.

WES, BABY, I’M IN LOVE WITH YOU OKAY. When Naomi and Thea were introduced in Fighting Conviction, I just knew she was going to end up with Snake. The way Snake (Wes) treated little Thea like a princess made my heart hurt (so precious). The way he cared for Naomi and helped her get out of an abusive relationship literally made me fall in love with him. I just knew that Phoenix was a little RAT I know he’s going to get a redemption book but he’s the snake right now….ugh. I’m so glad that Draco is awake so I can finally read about him and Nora in the next book. Overall, Snake is my favorite man in this series and i’m sticking by that!

Wes, Naomi and Princess T, are everything!!!
I loved Wes’ and Princess T’s little buddyship, like her mom says she is the boss and that is not an understatement, T understood the assignment and I fully believe she was the Cupid to the pair that is Wes and Naomi! Of course with the help of Nora.

Wes and Naomi’s story had it all, the hard doses of reality the reminder that even if things seem immovable from the bad that there is always hope and always a way out.

As the story progresses we learn so much more about the seedy underbelly of the town, just when we feel we’re getting close to blowing the lid off of this shit, we get hit with a set back, but the mystery behind who is pulling the strings and how deep this runs has me reeling!

I love that in each and every one of these storylines has something you can relate to and that you are able to feel as the characters are feeling.

Greer continues to hit all of these out of the park!!

Greer Rivers does it again.

Naomi and Wes' story comes to light in the third book of the Conviction series, and you don't want to miss it. Haven't read the first two titles yet, have no fear.. this can be read as a standalone as well, but I highly recommend reading the other two as well. Greer has a seamless way of making the series come together, without being overly repetitive with plot.

Character building throughout the book is on point, and you won't want to put this one down. Check out the trigger warnings, but don't hesitate if you are on the edge, because Greer does a great job of keeping the emotions and situations honest but not too overwhelming.

Now, let's all get ready for Healing Conviction, shall we?!

Interesting

Like the previous books in this series, it deals with some heavy stuff but is not exploitive. The story flowed well. It was a little slow but then it picked up immensely.

4.25 stars! These get better by the book. I loved Naomi and Thea as well as their individual relationships with Wes, aka Snake. The perfect mix of action and smut
