Interesante novela corta, tanto por los diversos temas que trata (directa y metafóricamente) sino por ese estilo como de habla oral tan característico, lleno de repeticiones y circunloquios. Interesante descripción psicológica de los personajes y también histórica. Quizá me habría gustado un final con algo más de fuerza, pero en general una buena novela.
Un ejemplo puro de machismo cotidiano en una familia "verdadera" jaja. Estoy segura que más de uno y una se verán aquí identificados. Es un libro de una sentada, con un estilo pueril y en el que la repetición juega funciones interesantes. Me gustó bastante.

This was probably my favourite (one of) books that I've had to read for school. I hope that I'll be capable of analysing it correctly in the upcoming exam. I really enjoyed it, and really understood the message - although I guess it wasn't too hard to.

The violence in these pages is almost entirely subtext. It is sinister and unrelenting. The book might only be a little over 100 pages but it tells a fully separate story with what isn't said. What an incredible and inventive way to glimpse tyranny, through the eyes of someone who has reached their limit and is about to revolt against it to save themselves and possibly their family.
