Least favorite of the series. I didn’t really care for Cox as a MMC, he didn’t have any super redeeming qualities or moments and his love for Sophie seemed sudden and undeveloped. Sophie was just kind of a cringey character that I struggled to like.

Nando’s Spice Rating: Wild Herb

This was basically a palate cleanser. It was just mediocre in my opinion. Just wasn’t for me unfortunately.

Sophie just annoyed me from the beginning. I know there are clumsy ppl but she’s tripping and wobbling far too often. Maybe go to the doc and see if you have inner ear problems or something cuz it’s not safe to be that clumsy all the time. Also, stop wearing heels cuz you clearly can’t walk in them and if you’re that clumsy, wouldn’t they just make things worse?! Good lord!

The whole book was overly long and their past was just kind of glossed over. Like she remembered him from day 1, but he didn’t recognize her, and after she told him, it was just sort of brushed aside. I get it was a long time ago, but ppl are allowed to feel how they feel no matter your thoughts or feelings on it. He should’ve apologized sooner instead of it being brushed off and then he apologizes like weeks or months later. Was glad to see Oliver ended up getting his tea girl though.
