Dead is Just a Rumor by Marlene Perez is the fourth book of the Dead Is series.

Senior year has finally arrived for Daisy and her friends. Her best friend, Samantha, is in charge of running the Midntight Ball to celebrate Nightshade's 200th year anniversary.

Daisy has won free lessons from Circe Silvertongue, a famous chef, but soon realizes that she isn't as nice as she appears on television. Circe isn't the only thing Daisy has to worry about. Even since her mom brought her dad back from the Scourge, her dad has been anxious and isn't thrilled about Daisy's relationship with Ryan. To top it off, the people of Nightshade are getting blackmails from an anonymous person. Will Daisy be able to find out who is blackmailing the citizens of Nightshade? Will she get her dad to like Ryan?

I really loved this book. I love reading about Daisy's and Ryan's relationship. I'm sad that this series is about to close but am looking forward to the fifth book and the spin-off series.

This one was cute. I liked the addition of Circe into the plot. But, I'll be happy to see how the stories play out once Daisy has graduated. Like the others, this is a quick, fun read.

I really like how they start to conclude the books here. These books are a good fast read. I really like how fast they go and how much fun it is to read them.

It took me only a couple days to read it because I’d never really gotten to this book before in the series and it was a page Turner, I kept wanting to find out what happened. It was a good one. I love the characters although there we’re definitely some moments that made me hate penny more then I already did, although I was glad near the end that she had changed some. I know Daisy’s dad had been through a lot and just got back but it made me a little angry with how he acted and grounded Daisy like he did.

If you know your Greek mythology and have read the Odyssey, you can easily figure out the mystery in this book. I still love the books and liked that Lil got more of a story. The whole Halloween Anniversary dance theme was fun as well.

I don't know if it's because it's been two years since i read the last one, or if it's because I've read so many amazing books since then, but i just could not get into this like I use to. I probably won't read the rest of this series because I could barely get through this one.
