I haven't smiled because of a book in a long while, but this did it for me. A wonderful novella that's comical and very meaningful. It is as fantastical as it is realistic. So much about human behavior is determined by our chemical composition, by tiny molecules inside our bodies. It takes real work to realize that and be able to see the bigger picture. A true ode to the human condition.

در شهری که روی نقشه ها اثری از آن نیست مردمی زندگی میکنند که از نظر خونسردی و آرامش و بی سر و صدایی گویی شبح هستند و شهرشان شهر اشباح. در این شهر همه آرام راه میروند و آرام حرف میزنند و تا حالا کسی نه دعوا دیده نه جر و بحث حتی گربه ها و سگ ها هم آرام و بی صدا هستند. تنها غریبه های شهر دکتر اکس است و همکارش. او با هزینه شخصی میخواهد پروژه ی روشنایی شهر را تکمیل کند و چون هزینه ای برای شهر ندارد مسئولین راحت پذیرفتند اما هدف اصلی دکتر اکس چیز دیگری بود یک آزمایش...ه
