Bitingly funny! Rachel and James Devlin's whirlwind fromance (friendship romance) was delightful and their dynamic felt so true to life. It's satire but there's honesty here, too. As someone who moved in literary circles in college, Rachel's internship with Deenie and subsequent bitterness toward her were thoughts I absolutely had for my well-off "benefactors"

I surprisingly loved Rachel's

happily ever after with James Carey

, it was sweet. I would've loved more present-day James.

Being a really generous grader lately, but I loved this book, its warmth, and its deep compassion for its characters. Acutely captures the feeling of being 21/22 and out of fucking control.
