Guter und flüssiger Schreibstil. Schöne und auch tragische Geschichte über Liebe und Freundschaft. Es werden auch Tabuthemen behandelt - war sehr interessant mehr über Irland und dessen Entwicklung im Bezug drauf zu erfahren.

This book wasn’t for me. While I find the time period and place interesting, Ireland against the 2010 recession, the book was overall a let down. I didn’t find the characters particularly likable. I think spent half the book waiting for something to happen and when it does it’s not exactly satisfying. The main character is pretty selfish and the friendship at the center of story pretty codependent. It doesn’t seem like the book makes much of an attempt to recognize that other “this is what it’s like to be young.”
