Poetic and surreal, but also difficult to follow and messy. Could have down with a bit more signposting as I couldn't even make out some of the graphics. Was she waiting for him or was he waiting for her? Time may not work in this novel as it does in reality.

Is trippy a genre? If so, this is definitely that genre. Perhaps more accurately it's surrealism, but trippy works too. This graphic novel was visually gorgeous, but I admit I felt a bit confused by the storyline and I'm still not wholly sure I get how it played out. I think it would've helped if I'd read the synopsis beforehand. Oop. Definitely worth a read, though!
