Is it scary to be in a wedding? Katie has never been in one, so asks her friends about it, and some give her bad advice, such as that she might make a mistake. Other friends tell her about the tradition of something old, something new, something borrowed something blue, and thinks that applies to to her.

The pictures are bright and colorful, and the story is a quick read, as an early chapter book. The solution to Katie’s anxiety is cute, and I like that other races are represented in the book, despite the story being about a traditional Western wedding.

Still, kids are still partiacipating in weddings, so this is a good introduction as to what to expect.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.
