The second one is better than the first one. I love that this book explores sexuality. And the importance of a supportive community for those who may feel left out or alone. I enjoyed this one so much because it was fun and lighthearted but serious at times where it was fitting. I love that. They never pressure each other and nick and Charlie are always there for one another. I’m satisfied without this one ended because that last scene made me tear up. I’m so happy they both have a safe space and someone they can rely on without feeling shame.
It made me reflective society. Some people may not be as open like nick friend Harry, but there are also people like charlie friends who are. I love seeing tao because he’s a real one Iol period he is not one friend that is honest and it’s just looking out for you. I’m so happy I read this!

Ugh I love Nick and Charlie. I think the illustrations in this are phenomenal, the emotions of all the characters come across so clearly.
Just the absolute sweetest.
I was rather surprised that the scene with Nick and his mum works as well on the page as it does on screen (in that it breaks something open in me and makes me cry).
