Literally nothing wrong with this book. Would be 5 stars if I connected with the characters just a little bit more. So it’s a me problem

perfection

It's very cute and digestible and slow burn but takes some romance stereotypes and turns them around while also addressing the stigma of reading romance

I loved this book. I read "See You Yesterday" also by this author almost a week ago and absolutely loved it. Since "See You Yesterday" is now my favorite romance novel I've ever read, I thought I'd check this other interesting romance title out. I am pleasantly surprised to say I've found a really interesting new romance author to keep an eye out for. Loved this book, though I can tell that some of the "interesting" moments at the end of the book were almost directly copied into "See You Yesterday". I do wish that maybe some of her characters weren't all Jewish because almost all of the main characters are at least a little bit. Neil my beloved is definitely my new romance bf! <3

I'm not really one for romance novels but I'm really glad I read this one.

At first I thought I wasn't going to love this book. The author's writing was a little too cringey and Rowan's rivalry with Niel seemed childish and unreasonable.

But at some point the characters grew onto me. Rowan's fear of telling people she loved Romance novels and her problem with being too idealistic were both things I can relate too growing up. Niel is the ideal type of person that is needed more in the world. He is kind, perceptive and more importantly, he owns up to his mistakes and occasional spouts of misogyny.

Also the best part of their relationship hands down: CONSENT. I love how both characters, not just Niel, ask each other whether they're OK with going a step further. This is evident in all aspects of their companionship; whether they're talking about personal things or doing the devils tango
