This is a great book for the Divergent fans.
It gives you an inside look at the Divergent movie with the pictures and info about the people, the world and the other things that make up the book.
It was a quick read and I had a lot of fun reading the book and to get back into the world of Divergent.

I suggest reading this book before the first. it just tells you information that would be useful during the first book.

I know that some people think once a series is finished that any and all other information about the world should be kept out of the light of day, especially if they don't like that series. I on the other hand, look forward to whatever information can be given because all it does is make the world even more solid and real. The information can help answer some of those nagging questions we all have at the end of a series, or even explain the reasoning behind certain things that we might not have even thought about. It shows just how much thought the author has put into creating this world and these characters that they've shared with us. And I read all of it greedily.
This book helps get people ready for the films coming out if they haven't read the series. It's a refresher for those of us that have read the books and gives us some great pictures and information in an easy to read format. I enjoyed it and it was a quick read.

I enjoyed this book to begin with, but as it went on I got a little bit bored of the storyline because it was slow and there was no action, and found myself not wanting to continue. I ended up finishing the book even though I got a bit bored at the end but didn't finish the series.

This was a good little book but I would recommend reading it after you have finished the book. It does have a few small spoilers.
I liked that it gave a background story for individuals who haven't read the book and have only seen the movie. All in all, this doesn't add anything to the story but it was a quick read that gave a little refresher of the factions.

If you have read the books than this is just a waste of time. You already know the invitation. The only reason I even read it was because I got it for free on my NOOK. At least the pictures were nice.
