Who are you and what have you done with Mia Thermopolis?
A lot of mixed emotions.

Just like the other books in the series, this is a really fun, fast, light-hearted read. Something about the Princess Diaries series always makes me forget my problems, and makes me so happy. :) This is definitely better than some of the other books in the series IMO (I remember being particularly disappointed with Princess on the Brink, Princess Mia, and Forever Princess), but still, the first 7 books are far superior.
Mia's grown up, and of course she's matured. I get it, character development. It's realistic. But I'm still nostalgic for Mia and her friends' immature antics and more juvenile problems. Books 1-7 were definitely the funniest because of that.
Nevertheless, I really enjoyed reading this; it's a very fun book. And I'm very happy that the ending left lots of opportunity for even more books in the series to come, which of course I will be happily reading. :)

This book was perfect!!! It was so great to get back into the world of the princess diaries. I can't wait for the next book!!!

It was really nice to revisit Mia's world via her diary. I've always loved reading diaries for some reason but her diaries are the best. What I kind of felt was weird was the whole recap. Like Mia would talk about her friends and what happened to them since Forever Princess as though speaking to a stranger. Yes it makes sense because we haven't seen what happens to them after high school etc. but it just felt a little odd.
The ending left me wanting more!!! I kind of hope Meg Cabot will surprise us again with a continuation!

This made me so happy! It’s such a fitting ending to a great series, and is the perfect example of why I can never get tired of YA and chick-lit: it’s perfect for light, fun reading and has a happy ending. Mia and Michael forever!!!!!!!

I got into this series a little later in life than most, but I loved it just the same. I’m so happy I decided to finally read the books, and will recommend everyone else who loved the movies but still hasn’t read these to GO PICK THEM UP! The books are about a hundred times funnier and more heartwarming than the movies are. Seriously, go read them!
