Very funny, love reading about what all the characters have been up to.
A very reluctant 3. I'm probably being too generous.
The pros: The book has the whole "Princess Diaries" feel.
The cons: The book has the whole "Princess Diaries" feel.
Mia as a feather-headed, ditsy, self-centered teen is one thing. Mia as a feather-headed, ditsy, self-centered 26-year-old is just sad. I hope that Cabot just felt pressured to write another volume by her fans and that is the reason she wrote this. (Well, plus the obvious potential for a new series thanks to the introduction of a new character. But I hope that's not why.)
It was perfectly fine as a mindless read, but that's all it was. Mindless.

I was spoiled for this book like 3 times and still I didn't put it together :D It was nice to be a part of Mia's world once again, with all of her shananigans. It's predictable as always, but otherwise a fun read. Well, for the last time: bye, Mia.
It felt so good to dive back into the Princess Diaries universe! I've missed these characters so much and it felt so good to see where everyone had to after all these years!
So, Royal Wedding didn't have the 'zing!' that my last couple of reads did but it was still good for me.
I loved Mia; getting back inside her head after 10 books was pretty fun! I'd honestly forgotten how fun this series was! Also, Mia with Michael had me fangirling! *wink wink*
Mia's family is the same level of crazy they've always been... actually maybe more than then too! Haha! All the scandals and stuff in this book had my head whirring nonstop!
I'll admit that I got a bit teary-eyed when I reached the end; it just felt so good to see everyone so happy! Coz everyone WAS so happy and fun and amazing! I'm telling you, reading this book was like having reunion with old friends! *sigh*

It was nice to come back to this world after so long of not reading it. That ending felt hella rushed though. Like I had to keep checking to see that it was actually over.
But overall, enjoyable.

So cute! So fluffy! Just what I needed after a series of sci-fi books that didn't live up to the hype as I wanted them to: a fun, quick read full of fluff and marshmellows.

So many thoughts!
First of all Meg Cabot is from Bloomington, Indiana! I mean I should have guessed b/c she hates on Indiana quite a bit, but girl created a famous book series and inspires two of my favorite movies. That’s pretty cool!
Second. I though planning a wedding was bad. Mia has to do it on a grand scale with her grandmother always criticizing over her shoulder, but that’s a small price to pay when marrying Michael Moscovitz!!!
Third. We stan Michael Moscovitz in all forms. As a boyfriend, exboyfriend living on the other side of the world, fiancé, baby daddy, husband. We just love M. M.
Finally, these books aren’t the epitome of literature. They aren’t a great book series, but they sure do make you feel good. I have finally come to the realization that these books are whimsical. There is no life or death plot because why should there be? Mia is just an ordinary girl who happens to be the heir to a small European principality, and he love her!
