I loved the premise of the book, but infortunately it kept reaching and didn't really go anywhere. I was so curious where this would lead but the ending was disappointing in my opinion.
I liked the build up about Iris' life on Earth, but when the story moved to Nyx, it kinda lost it way. Everything was so depressing that it started to feel like a never ending fever dream.
2.5 stars.
Spoilers:
- I didn't like how being pregnant seemed to give her the will to live that she didn't have before.
- I HATE open endings where it feels like you know way too little for the story to be done and this was exactly that

Loved the premise of the book, the reflections about daily life and mindless office jobs that are made to seem important but contribute nothing, really (spoken by someone in exactly that position). I especially loved the idea of a distopian 2nd life with a twist of reality tv. However, I wanted more of everything (no pun intended), and was waiting for a big twist, which left me feeling a little let down at the end. Still a great book, will definitely check other works by Luiza Sauma.

I was really excited for this book, the premise sounded so interesting. Right away I was put off by all the office talk, and maybe that's the point? To show how pointless all that stuff is? I already know that, so it was very boring. I decided to read some reviews and stumbled across some spoilers and have no want to finish this book at all.
Spoilers that I came across in other reviews that fully put me off this book:
Apparently getting to hear about life on Nyx doesn't start until around 60%, which is what I was most excited to read about. Then a surprise pregnancy that cures the main characters depression and gives her the will to live? Really gross.
