Now THIS is the Brawl in the Family I love. I didn't much care for Volume 1. It was very rough and boring with the same joke over and over again. Two blows one out of the window.
There are actual stories in here, over pages and pages for the same story and they pay off! What's jarring though is that there seems to be no transition between One and Two. It's just suddenly good. I suppose it won't bother anyone who just reads Volume Two or who waits a decent amount of time before forgetting One, which is totally forgetful.
There is one downside to this book. There are some strips that go with holiday songs. It has QR codes to play but who has ever used those? I still see them now on newer things. I almost redownloaded a QR app, but didn't. If you do, you might appreciate those strips more and actually understand them.
