This book was my jam! The timeline from witch trials to 2024 kept me interested. This is one that kept me thinking afterward and wanting more!

alright i just don't think i'm cut out for the flavor of horror that's actually more thriller, nor am i particularly cut out for the book about witches and witch hunts with some past/present day timeline and give it a feminist twist story which i mean, i think i've only read one other but i hated that one so uh. i guess i'm two for two?

i think it's well written and does atmosphere/tension well i just. was annoyed the whole time. oops. it's not you, it's me.

This book was good. In ways it was very meaningful and page-turning but the overall plot wasn’t something I’ll keep with me forever. The history/retelling aspect was interesting but the connection from past to present was pretty thin and kinda unnecessary. Would have probably preferred 1 fully fleshed out mystery.
