I ADORE her sense of humor! Scientific results include: 'felt lonesome like a cowboy' and 'love of ketchup wavering'. Seriously delightful.

This is on the 2014 Monarch list.

I should never underestimate what my 4 year old knows. When we started this silly book about goofy experiments by a very curious girl, I asked Max if he knew what a hypothesis is. "Yes," he said immediately. "It's an idea you can test." Indeed.

So needless to say, he got this book and found it rather amusing. He liked predicting that the experiments weren't going to work. And I really liked that it familiarized him with the scientific process. Pretty amazing, book and kid.

Loved it!!! My favorite is the dog and glitter experiment! Even though the main character is a girl, I think this would appeal to boys as well. Ultimately, though, it's the parents who will enjoy this the most, I think.

A young girl uses the scientific method to conduct experiments around her house. This book is a funny look out how these experiments turned out. A great book to use to introduce the scientific method with young students!

Would be great for connections to scientific process, or as a text innovation for "how-to" class book for older kids

Cute book for students. Not as fun as a read aloud. Students got bored as a whole group; however, they do enjoy it more independently.
