I won this a group contest. I haven't read any of the others in the series and it is a tribute to the author's craft that I was not lost or frustrated. A super find read with fade to black heat. I kept waiting for Scooby and Shaggie to show up. Non-spoiler: It wasn't a real estate scam and the ghosts were real.

Definitely listened to this for a specific challenge.. but it doesn't hurt that I really enjoy all these novellas in the dark night series.

In All Hallows Eve we will meet Jenna and Samuel all the way in Salem. It's also Halloween - which is kind of around the corner for us. Well, these two aren't really reuniting under exciting terms - unless you view a sudden death as exciting? I guess it depends on your job.

Jenna can talk to ghosts, which sounds fun and all but wouldn't that get annoying? For example, you're on the toilet (doing your thing) and ghost just pops into your life. I would probably be traumatized.. but who knows. Then there's Sam who is a lawyer (and that's it). Sam it like me, a nonbeliever.

Yup, you read it here folks. I don't believe in ghosts (sorry?). If I can touch, feel, or see it - then maybe. As of right now, it's just the wind.

Long story short, she finds out that the dead man in question was murdered. Now she needs to figure out what happened and why. Ugh, her and Sam were adorable. Of course this book had mystery, danger, and romance in the air! I was all for it but wished the audio was longer!

Maybe it's because I'm in the Halloween spirit - but dammit I wanted more murder shit! Ugh, moving onto the next Halloween-y book that I can find!

This was a fun little Halloween read. It kept me guessing until the end. I've only read the first book in the krewe hunters series, but didn't feel like it mattered not knowing all the players.

This book was creepy AF! It could be because I read it in the middle of the night, but I kept looking around for a freaking boo-hag!! Thank you very much Heather Graham for scaring the shit out of me. This book had wiccans, seers, mediums and murder. It was eerie and suspenseful and would make a great read for anyone interested in a bit of a spook.

Not a huge fan of this one. Seemed more of a sniper than a novella. Side story feel with no real progress in arc.

This was a nice little paranormal/murder mystery novella. It features a detective and her lawyer fiance. Jenna has always been able to see ghosts and when her cousin finds a dead body thanks to a ghost she calls Jenna.

This was short and sweet. I liked that I got to know all of the main characters pretty well in such a short book. And the story always kept me guessing. I'll definitely keep reading these 1001 Dark Nights stories!
