this was so nostalgic and somehow written in a way that felt modern (which is really interesting considering the time it was released), it also made me think about how much i like when the story is told by a third narrator pov that is mysterious and engaging with the reader, is fun!

second time reading this, although last time I was far too young. and maybe it's because I have been so oversaturated with the story over the years that it just felt a bit disappointing this time around. but it did make me realised how good dickens prose are.
