This is a classic for a reason!  I absolutely loved this story. It's probably one of the most influential books of all time!

I started this Friday at school, along with two other teachers and a handful of kids. Our goal was to complete a live read during the afternoon school hours. We almost made ti! We had 18 pages left when we had to stop reading because it was the end of the day. We read through page 50 of 68 during a two hour span. I read the rest when I got home.

I can't say that I've read this before, but I also can't say that I haven't. It's one of those stories that weaves its way through your holiday season.

That's neither here nor there; I enjoyed it reading it this time. I was interested in how closely the language related to that of Washington Irving, one of my favorite American authors.

I'll probably add this to my annual holiday reads.

A very fun Christmas story. This book just puts me in the mode for Christmas!

Una hermosa historia que nos recuerda en que consiste el espíritu de la Navidad y lo importante que es conservarlo todo el año.
