good lesson and full of classic dickensian wit, characters and lively description; albeit a little simplistic and moralistic (tiny tim just surviving with no explanation, everyone just accepting scrooge with no moment of confusion where scrooge apologies and explains).... but overall a pretty entertaining read!

4.3

I thought it was fine for what it is. It’s mostly a basic, simple story about Scrooge becoming a good person. There’s not much extra stuff here and it’s mostly predictable, but it’s written well.

I’ll read the whole thing next year I promise

Reread review because I’m more experienced with classes now.

I think Dickens definitely has some humor! I was just confused with some of the language, and it wasn’t as enjoyable as I thought. This is one of the few instances where I prefer the movie over the book.

So amazingly well dramatized. Very engaging.

A genuine masterpiece and a heartwarming must for every holiday season, whether in book, audio, or movie form. If all of Dickens' books were this short and to the point, I'd probably enjoy his work much more.
