Richelle Mead was saving the best for last! This series has been a roller coaster of all sorts of emotions: surprise, excitement, annoyance & lots of laughs. After the huge cliff hanger at the end of the previous book I was looking forward to seeing how this might have ended. Mead did a fantastic job of wrapping up the series with everything tied up in a nice little bow. There was a moment there that I was a bit worried that she was going to go down THAT road (for all people who have read this you may know what I'm talking about) but she didn't, thankfully!
I listened to this one on Audiobook, unlike all the others which I read. I thought I'd give it a go on Audio to see whether I enjoyed it. Well, I enjoyed the story but not the narrator. She did a terrible job of the male voices. Dimitri & Adrian did not sound very good at all, it was very off putting!
I took a star off only because of the slight predictability of the story and because of poor Adrian. I really like Adrian and thought he was hard done by, even though I knew Dimitri was always the one for Rose.
This series has been so enjoyable and I like that Mead was able to finish it before it got boring. After finishing this I feel content and happy with how everything panned out. I'm looking forward to reading the follow on series 'Bloodlines'. (Mainly because I've been told Adrian is a main character in it)

After the shocker ending of the last book, I couldn't wait to dig my teeth into this one. And while I loved every minute of it, I am so sad to see the end. I know there's Bloodlines and it's set in the same world, but I'm afraid it just won't be the same. Rose quickly became one of favorite heroines and I'm sad to see her story end.
But what a wonderful ending! This whole book was just full of twists and turns. The adventure was amazing! Seeing Dimitri and Rose together again, fighting together instead of against each other, oh man. It finally felt right again.
The world Mead built here is so complex and interesting. I know Bloodlines will be great, even if I know I'll miss Rose and Dimitri greatly. The VA series is definitely on my favorites shelf. I'm going to say it one last time, if you haven't read it yet... what's wrong with you fool?

Everything about it was so good except for that plot twist at the end with lisa and rose losing there bond that was such bs and incredibly stupid

OH MY GOD-I CANT EVEN!!!!!!!!!
So I'm not really sure how this review is going to turn out because I just finished reading this book and I am in no fine mental state to write this review but I just can't resist gushing out all my feels...
ROSE AND DIMITRI<3<3<3FINALLYYYY!!!! I've been dying for them to get together again since the ending of Shadow Kiss and I'm extremely happy about!! It was so cute when Sonya was talking about their auras "brightening up like the sun when they were around each other." I also thought the relationship was well thought out and finely executed which was fabulous because I immensely enjoyed reading about Rose and Dimitri.;)
MIKHAIL AND SONYA<3<3<3 I don't think this OTP gets the attention it deserves!!! Their reunion scene was so cute and well written! I couldn't deal with all the joy of yet another OTP getting together again.;);)
PLOT TWIST:0:0 There were so many twists and turns in Last Sacrifice and I was continuously shocked. Usually I'm pretty good at predicting plot twists but most of these caught me by surprise which is rare.
Action:8:8:8 I was so enthralled by all of the compelling, entertaining action-packed scenes!!! They were phenomenal and also well written.
Ending;);););) More often than not I will read conclusions to great series that I'm not pleased with, but the ending of Last Sacrifice was awesome and overall satisfying.
Characters;)<3 Besides the action scenes and OTPS, the characters were my favorite element to this book. All of the characters held your attention with their wittiness and intrigue. I even loved reading about the villains because they were so complex and different. My favorite character-and quite possibly one of my favorite characters of all time-was Abe. I've never read anything like him before. He stands out from other YA characters with his flashy sense of style and bold personality. Don't get me wrong, lots of YA characters have bold personalities, but Abe's boldness is full of knowledge, power, funny dialogue, and strength. And that, is a lovely combination and formula for awesomeness.;)
Dialogue;);) Richelle Mead excels in writing dialogue, I believe. The dialogue is fascinating and matches each characters' mind set perfectly.
Overall, this was a spectacular book and, by all means if you have not read the Vampire Academy Series THEN GO PICK IT UP YOU WONT REGRET IT.;);)
