I worked it out about half way through. Not the best mystery when it comes to laying down clues but I loved the plot line of the opium den.

Another okayish sort of book involving the mysterious disappearance of a man almost in front of his wife's eyes and the extraordinary reason thereof .

Loved this one. I was very puzzled for a while, but figured out the solution just before Sherlock revealed it. And I liked how Dr Watson became involved almost at random, due to his trying to help one of his wife’s friends. Great little mystery, this one.
