I liked this story and learning more about Silvia and the other main characters. I was still just really annoyed with some characters as they felt like they were being antagonistic for no reason/ stupid reasons. I liked the mystery and learning more about the magic system in this world. I am excited to go into the next book and listen to the audiobook.

This second book is definitely where the action picked up. It starts a week after the first and gives a few reminders, but quickly jumps into the action and the plot. More about magic is explained and there is definitely more character development as well. A fun continuation; and now on to the third!
