Oh sweet Beck

This book was perfect. Beck and Sarah are made for each other. Sarah’s life hasn’t been rainbows and her fear of trust shows that. Beck had a wonderful upbringing but his adult life has shown him people aren’t who you think they are. But his smiley happy ways get to Sarah. He pulls her out of her head with his jokes and love for his family. She shows him he’s more than just a sexy body. I adored this book and everything Pippa writes and would highly recommend this! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

This book really surprised me, it was full of more depth and emotion than the first bro code book. It even had a not so hidden message about how social media isn’t all that it’s all cracked up to be. That most people shouldn’t be judging everyone based on looks or what they post and how they take it. How many people are guilty of doing this? Instead of just scrolling by they turn into online trolls, it’s awful.

Beck comes off in the first book as this very laid back comfortable character that likes to have fun. He has card board cut outs of himself in underwear EVERYWHERE, just to make everyone else uncomfortable. I loved how everyone in his family and extended non blood family was completely fine just coming into his house whenever they wanted and using what they needed. Beck is the character that is just loving life no matter what it throws at him. It was hard to tell if he was being goofy because that was what he needed to be or because that was how he is. I really liked his one talk near the end of the book with Charlie about what he is like as a boss that really reveals a lot about his character.

Sarah while she is in hiding for good reasons, also has good reasons for coming out of hiding. She wants to save everything that’s endangered and Beck is totally fine with helping her. I enjoyed how Beck helped her realize that it’s not worth it to worry about what online people say about her. Sarah really blossomed while all of this was going on, and not in the I’m going to get all dolled up and look fashionable. It was more of the I’m taking back my life and gaining control blossom. I like how Pippa Grant makes both the female and male characters flawed and real. They don’t have to be perfect all the time, they can like sweatpants and comic books and I’m totally fine with it.

The giant family this author has created makes me want to read books about all of them. I cannot wait to get the rest of the books about the Bro Code, I really hope there are more. Plus now she has introduced me to people in a different area like Shipwreck so I need stories on them too!

This book was surprisingly cute. It’s a slow burn romance, which I love! It did take a little while to get into the story, mostly because the characters are a little...scattered. Which made for a really amusing read, but it was hard to get a grasp on who was who, and how various side characters fit in. I do wish there had been a bit more romantic build at the beginning, but overall, a really fun read!

Each new Pippa Grant is a trip into a world of amazing characters. America’s Geekheart is a romantic roller coaster ride that just gets better with each new twist and turn! This is such a fun book with more of a slow burn.

Beck is the most sexy, over the top, romantic and goofy hero. After getting tasered by Sarah he isn’t sure if his tingles are love or the after effect of the electric jolt. He is a genuine guy who loves his family and has a close group of friends who keep him grounded.

Sarah has secrets and an issue with being in the public eye as a result of several hurtful mishaps as a child/teenager. Becks accidental tweet brings massive attention to her and her geeky blog that she has purposefully tried to keep a low profile with for many years.

The two special characters are perfect for each other and the romance includes baseball games and sports superstitions, a pregnant giraffe, Hollywood Stars, boyband members and so much more.

Definitely read Flirting with the Frenemy before this book. Reading Pippa’s previous title helps you enjoy small cameos by Felicity, Nick Murphy and Lavoie at a comedy club.

I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

It all starts with a Tweet

Beck accidentally Tweets a private joke for his sister and it is posted on her neighbors Twitter account. This hilarious story starts with him being tazed by Sarah, because he snuck in through her back yard to them fake dating. Beck is an underwear model and clothes designer, he has a lot riding on making thing's right with Sarah. Sarah is the daughter of Hollywood star's and is afraid of being in the limelight, but she'll do it for her causes.
These two are hilarious together and I can't wait to see what Pippa has in store for them later in the Bro Code books.

It's not often that I read a romantic comedy that is truly funny from beginning to end. In fact, I can't remember one at all, but this book hits the mark.

I love both Sarah and Beck's characters. Their banter was the best. The dialogue was witty, sarcastic, and downright funny. The secondary characters were well written, quirky, and humorous in their own right.

Beck stole the show. I don't think I have ever run across an H like Beck. He was sweet, sexy, strange, forever hungry and food obsessed, a good friend, son, and brother. I loved the way he appreciated Sarah for the intelligent person she was not only in her field, but in life itself.

A quirky, crazy, funny romance that I highly recommend.

Beck just loves life! Like everything about it. He is genuine about everything, what you see is who he is. But sometimes he makes mistakes and he made one BIG one by tweeting the wrong thing to the wrong woman.

Sarah isn’t who she says she is. She’s hiding her past from everyone. She doesn’t want to be found. But she can’t hide now that Beck accidentally brought her into the spotlight by a mistake, tweet.
I just love Beck! He is soo genuine and nice. He sees only the good in everything. He sees Sarah for the beautiful, smart, amazing woman that she doesn’t see in herself. How he fell into insta-love with her, swoon! I love the interaction between these two. How he showed her that she was strong and beautiful through his actions.

Another book that Pippa showed us what an amazing writer she is!

Read slow to savor the book. He's sweet as honey to her sharp bee sting, she's the daisy easily campaigned.

Loved it! It grabbed my attention from the start and I couldn't put it down until I finished. It was fast-paced and the characters were developed and so easy to connect with. Beck was such a happy person that I had to smile at all his goofy comments. Sarah was adorable and it was great seeing how she finally came into herself and stood up to the media. The side characters were wonderful and added wit to the book. I've had to add the other books in the series to my TBR list and can't wait to get to them.

I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited and am voluntarily reviewing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
