on star for closure, on star because it was A Book. but literally nothing special… wish we got to see more of gideon and savannah in high school and not present day. i did not care for their little revenges moments, like why even insert that in? obviously they are Good Guys and will Prevail or whatever. anyway, i can’t believe this couple has had a book out for the past five years and i’ve been literally living in the dark but still it was really lackluster and maybe it would’ve been better just now knowing anything abt these two.

horseshit.

I am so freaking mad at this book. First off, never knew it was freaking Gideon's book. Second, now that I know that's what Tarnished Crown is freaking about.. I'm mad. So many things happened in this book that annoyed me.. but the one thing I just couldn't stand was that damn ending.

These royals are going to kill me.

Throughout the series you knew that Savannah and Gideon were a couple. Something drastic happened and they were no longer an item. Of course they had their ups and downs and it just felt off. Now that I finally got their book.. well, I'm devastated. I couldn't accept anything that was happening and I'm a bit disappointed that I was freaking excited for this book.

Now the one thing I did love, Cal and Gideon's friendship. It was the only thing that seemed genuine and would put a smile on my face. Other than that, the rest of the characters were just meh and frustrating to read about. I wanted so many things to go a different way in this book because then.. well, maybe.. I would've actually liked it.

Ugh, overall.. I kind of wish I never knew that this book existed.
