I can't believe how long I waited to read this book, but I think I read it at the perfect time. It has been long enough since I've seen the movie that I can't remember details, so the book still felt fresh and new. I'm looking forward to starting the LOTR trilogy now...also for the first time.

Bilbos big adventure is an easy and fun story for fantasy friends. They walked trough dangerous land and passed all kind of difficulty’s. The Hobbit has a pure soul and is smart and his good character shows the balance of life.

First I couldn’t enjoy the adventures because there was a lot description. I started reading so fast and couldn’t enjoy it… even tough in every chapter there was some tension. (~Page 180)
But that changed and I was getting used to it. It’s a nice story without giving any fear or a bad feeling.
It’s a story for the whole family and overall the tension builds up until the end.
